About The Midcentury Modern Design Collection

In 2013, I took a trip to Palm Springs, California. I was really inspired by the incredible midcentury modern architecture and history there. That inspiration eventually led me to start creating the patterns and fonts you see on this site. I also discovered old back issues of Arts & Architecture magazine from the 1940s and 50s, which became another source of inspiration. Then I found Pinterest, where 1950s mid-mod lamps, design, glassware, and tableware really caught my eye. Many of the motifs and patterns in my designs draw from those as well.
